Advocacy

Empowering renters and homeowners to have a strong community voice.

What changes would you like to see happen in the neighborhood? Are you interested in being a communicator on behalf of the neighborhood? Are you good at creating newsletters? Do you have or want experience speaking at City Council meetings and other public service venues in advocacy of your community?

Working to improve our neighborhood’s safety, parks, and amenities.

Wanna learn how to garden? What about growing beautiful flowering pots on your deck or patio? Lawn care?

Are you one of our elderly neighbors or hard-working neighbors with very limited time, and need assistance keeping your yard as nice as you would like? We have young citizens in our neighborhood who would like to make a little extra money over the summer, and would possibly be able to have a working relationship with you! Who knows, it may even be beneficial for winter snow removal!

Coordinate with neighbors on your block to perform a cleaning sweep of your street, yards, and alleys to eliminate risks of basement flooding due to clogged drains. The appearance and attractiveness of the neighborhood begins with you...whether you own or rent. While you're at it, please join the Rosenblum Park Advisory Council and make your park safer through increased engagement!

This summer, let's plan a day (or 7) of the week where everyone can spend some time in their front yards and fellowship with their neighbors! For those who may be renters in multifamily dwellings, we welcome you! Please be a part of the family!
